Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) toxin genes inserted into genetically modified (GM) crops are, along with herbicide tolerance, the leading modifications of food crops.
Antibody pairs and standards (Bt proteins) for Cry1Ab, Cry1Ac, Cry1F, Cry2A, Cry3B, and Cry9C are available for the detection of BT-Cry in corn tissues, cotton leaf tissues, and bulk corn grain.
Applications for the antibodies are ELISA, Dipsticks, Immuno PCR and Western Blot.
