Biosense has developed a range of new monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies directly against biomarkers like vitellogenin (Vtg),
zona radiata proteins (Zrp), Cytochrome P450 1A (CYP1A) and metallothionein (MT) in a variety of fish species. These antibodies are all suited for semi-quantitative analysis like western blot, ELISA and immunohistochemistry.

Biosense also offers vitellogenin standards from rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss), Atlantic salmon (Salmon salar), common carp (Cyprinus carpio), japanese medaka (Oryzias latipes) and zebrafish (Danio rerio). The standards consist of purified, lyophilised vitellogenin and are suited for quantitative analysis, western blot and semi-quantitative ELISA.
Antibodies against spiggin, the androgen biomarker in stickleback will be available soon, and two new monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) for bird vitellogenin, and one Mab for alligator vitellogenin have been developed.
