Introduction:
ELISA methods for Microcystin analysis are being employed in many laboratories for the analysis of drinking and recreational waters and other matrices. The use of check samples with each run ensures that the analysis/dilutions have sufficient accuracy, precision, and specificity.

The Microcystin LR Check Sample Set contains 3 vials of lyophilized Microcystins LR and a bottle of Reconstitution Diluent Solution.

Reagents Provided:
3 vials of Microcystins LR, lyophilized
1 vial of Reconstitution Diluent Solution

Sample Preparation: 
Reconstitute each sample with 5,0 mL of the provided Reconstitution Solution, vortex, and let the sample set for 5-10 minutes.

Dilute sample C with Diluent Solution to meet the desired QA program levels. The result in the ELISA should be multiplied by appropriate dilution factor to obtain the final concentration.

Sample Storage:
Store samples refrigerated at 2-8 C for up to 1 week. For prolonged storage, aliquot and store frozen. The reconstituted and aliquoted samples can be stored frozen for up to a year.

Expected values:
Sample A: non-detect (<0.15 ppb)
Sample B: 2.0 +/- 0.5 ppb
Sample C: 20 +/- 5 ppb
